Peter McCleary

  Peter enjoyed an executive career in line management and human resource management roles between 1977 and 2003, which included senior roles in Newcastle, Malaysia, Wagga Wagga, Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

In 1991 he ‘escaped the city rat race’ and moved to regional NSW where he held senior management roles with Namoi Valley Electricity, NorthPower and Namoi Cotton
 
During Peter’s time with Namoi Cotton (a large ASX-listed agribusiness that had an annual turnover of $550M and 1000 employees during peak times) he was responsible for the human resource and corporate service activities of the organisation.  Namoi Cotton was awarded an Australian National Training Award as ‘Employer of the Year’ and the national Telstra/NSCA OH&S Excellence Award while Peter managed these areas of responsibility
 
Peter has also been the CEO of a successful professional services company with 40 staff and an annual turnover exceeding $7 million in regional Queensland.  Peter joined HRM Partners in 2003, and he purchased the business in 2004

Peter has also been involved with the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) National Awards programme for a number of years, in recognition of both his previous award success and his extensive knowledge and experience with best-practice HR processes and systems.  In the period 2004-2007 he was an Assessor for these awards, while in 2008 he was a State Judge.  Peter has also been elected by AHRI professionals as an AHRI State Councillor for the period 2008 – 2010

Stuart Liddell is a Partner with HRM Partners, a human resource and business coaching organisation that has been servicing central and north-west NSW since 2001

Apart from his HR and business expertise, Stuart is a skilled facilitator and a certified HR Coach.

Stuart enjoyed an executive career in business and human resource management from 1994 to 2008, which included senior roles located in Bathurst, Port Macquarie, Canberra and Sydney. In 1996 Stuart ‘escaped the rat race’ and moved to regional NSW where he held senior management roles with Advance Energy, Country Energy,Raytheon Australia and the Commonwealth Superannuation Authority in Canberra. Stuart has also been a Board member of Central West Group Apprentices(CWGA) for over 10 years
 

 

Stuart was the GM responsible for establishing the HR functions within Advance Energy and Country Energy.Country Energy is a NSW State Owned Corporation providing national retail energy and energy infrastructure management services to the majority of NSW. The company was formed following the merge of three rural distributors in 2001. At the time Country Energy had 750,000 customers, $2.5 billion assets, $1.3 billion annual revenue and 4,000 employees
 

During his time with Advance Energy and Country Energy Stuart developed and introduced several innovative programs to improve workplace culture and business performance. Apart from improved organisational outcomes the organisations’ received awards in Absenteeism Management, Workplace Diversity and in 2003 was awarded the Aboriginal Employer of the Year in the annual Premier’s Awards.

Stuart’s time on the CWGA Board has seen the organisation consolidate its position as one of the largest group training companies in Australia. CWGA is a not for profit community organisation with anannual turnover of over $25 million and employs apprentices and trainees for over 650 businesses in regional NSW.
